Adapting to the situation
As this is a consultancy, my role invariably adapted to the situation I found myself in.
Where in one project I was perhaps needed to set the creative direction and build it out, in another it could be aligning closely with the client and leading the team day-to-day to create the product.
As a Design Director in the studio, and with responsibility for the Nordic UX practice, I was focused on ensuring we showed where UX could have tangible impact through partnerships across the firm, while nurturing and coaching designers to grow and remain at the forefront.
Concept through to GTM
Building and launching a new digi-physical product and experience for a company focused on fitness is no mean feat — especially in 20 weeks.
From concept, through to building the product strategy and refining the creative direction, we were able to create a product that felt like it always existed — alongside content and branding that was both modern and disruptive.

Creating a revolution
Expeditions are a truly unique way to travel and we were tasked to build experiences that could tell the story in a human way — and make finding your dream trip a cinch.
From concept to build in 16 weeks, and to impact in 24, we were able to build a full travel web system that increased visits by 250% and conversion by 3x.

Reframing debt to wellbeing
Financial freedom is something we all strive for, and sometimes things happen where we end up on the other side.
Working alongside a financial institution, we were able to build a white-label financial wellbeing product that could be used to support and guide employees in finding financial freedom.
One example of this is saving one employee 700,000 NOK.
We were able to capture 16 companies, representing 150+ employees, on commercial contracts in the first 8 months, with 70% conversion for employees signing up to use the service.

- Building the digital twin for the future of infant cranial technology.
- Shaping what loyalty can look like for one of the largest telecom providers in the world.
- Defining the future experience for a major airline.
- Designing the fan experience product ecosystem for one of the most watched leagues in sport.
The Church
This was a transformative experience for me — working at the Church, where so many incredible people have passed through.
More than anything, I learnt how business strategy and go-to-market thinking could become part of the design process, building that thinking into my mindset and allowing me to grow into a true Design / Product hybrid.
Much of what shaped me professionally, I learnt, grew and matured here.
